My journey began June of 2007 while on a camping trip at Grizzly campground at Howard Prairie Lake in Southern Oregon. I had just purchased a brand new spinning reel and being the kind of individual who takes good care of his equipment, I was extra careful not to scratch or scuff my new investment. I ventured over to a rocky point to try my luck at trout. The winds were blowing and it was rather cool, I was looking to warm my hands so I sat my pole down to fish. Needless to say, at that point the reel was taking some abuse from the rocks. I thought that if I had something to help prevent it from getting scuffed and serve as an all around cleaning device, I could perhaps solve this particular problem as well as other problems for myself and my fellow anglers.

I felt the need to design something that could be used as a protective cover for those who are particular about taking care of their gear as well as those who could benefit from it as a cleaning rag. Gone are the days of stuffing an old rag into a tackle box only to find it snagged on hooks and lures. Now you can have a protective cover that doubles as a cleaning rag that just slips onto your reel in a snap for the next fishing trip. Since I am a big fan of micro-fiber and use it for nearly everything. I feel its properties of being tightly woven, absorbent, quick-drying and durable make it the ideal material for use in a variety of applications. It shines glass, metal, chrome, you can even use it to detail a boat. So the idea was hatched to devise a form-fitting multipurpose rag to slip over and protect a fishing reel. was born.

After putting the idea on hold for a year, I finally decided to move forward with development of this idea. Two short years after its conception, is available at several retailers. is a name and product that exudes extreme performance and will be synonymous with fishing for years to come. I am passionate about the product I have created and committed in the continued effort in providing quality products and excellent service to the fishing world.
